Musicians, singers, spoken word artists, storytellers, poets, and other performers are invited to share their stories, thoughts, and passions in an intimate and supportive environment.
The aim is to foster a sense of community and collaboration among diverse disciplines that align with the mission statement, nothing left unsaid.
Bars for Thought’s concept originated in the vibrant borough of Brooklyn.
"I felt like the lyrics got lost in translation during the live show. I wanted to provide a different way of digesting lyricism" explained STC, an audiovisual storyteller from Lebanon based in New York City and the host and creator of Bars For Thought.
His artistic fusion of hip-hop, spoken word and storytelling captures the diverse perspectives of the sons and daughters of immigrants, brothers and sisters of the global majority, and anyone with something to say. His blend of satire, raw emotion and relatable tales create a truly immersive experience for those attending his shows.
